DescriptionAt Amazon, we're looking for a Production Engineer to join our dynamic Event Productions team. You'll help create and deliver exceptional live experiences for Amazon's largest on and off-campus events, both in-person and via livestream. What you'll do: u2022 Design, program, and operate live events ranging from corporate meetings to concerts. u2022 Provide technical direction for audio, video, lighting, and livestreaming. u2022 Support hybrid events through both onsite and remote operations. u2022 Install and optimize Production equipment in various venues. u2022 Collaborate with event organizers and AV teams to deliver excellent experiences. u2022 Travel up to 50% to support global events. Key job responsibilities Production Cycle Responsibilities: Pre-event u2022 Prepare and organize technical equipment needs. u2022 Conduct equipment testing and signal flow verification. u2022 Coordinate with organizers on technical requirements. During Event u2022 Operate production equipment for live events. u2022 Provide real-time technical support across audio, video, and lighting. u2022 Adapt quickly to changing customer needs. u2022 Ensure consistent quality throughout productions. Post-event u2022 Manage equipment strike and storage. u2022 Participate in event feedback and improvement discussions. What we're looking for: u2022 Proven experience in live event production and livestreaming u2022 Strong technical knowledge of integrated Production systems u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team u2022 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills u2022 Experience creating signal flow diagrams and technical documentation u2022 Commitment to safety and industry best practices u2022 Flexibility to support various technical roles as needed A day in the life A Production Engineer's role is to operate production equipment during live events that are hosted by our internal Amazon customers experienced by internal or external attendees. The Production Engineer will work alongside Producers, peers and customers to deliver high quality event experiences. This work will encompass all stages of the event process including production preparation, set, execution and strike. Production Engineers will travel regionally and globally to provide operational support for events taking place outside of Amazon's campus as needed. This role will also be responsible for supporting livestream events both in-person and remotely, as necessary. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
