Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in McCleary, Washington. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and support critical payroll functions. Responsibilities: u2022 Process biweekly payroll for union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. u2022 Administer garnishments, union dues, vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and safety equipment reimbursements. u2022 Manage 401(k) participant changes and oversee open enrollment processes. u2022 Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns and W-2 forms. u2022 Handle multi-state payroll operations and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations. u2022 Generate and analyze payroll reports to support audits and personnel headcount tracking. u2022 Coordinate with workers' compensation provider for claims and state returns. u2022 Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and resolve payroll discrepancies. u2022 Utilize Paycom and Microsoft Excel to streamline payroll processes and reporting. u2022 Support payroll-related audits and ensure adherence to company policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including union and non-union payroll. u2022 Familiarity with multi-state payroll operations and related compliance requirements. u2022 Proficiency in payroll software such as Paycom and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. u2022 Knowledge of garnishment administration and 401(k) plan management. u2022 Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements. u2022 Ability to manage payroll for a workforce of 101-500 employees. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with HR and other departments.
