Description Established New York City firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in organization and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle all aspects of bookkeeping, including maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers. u2022 Reconcile accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial statements. u2022 Process and manage accounts payable activities, including verifying invoices and making timely payments. u2022 Perform full charge bookkeeping responsibilities, including payroll management and financial reporting. u2022 Prepare periodic financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial health. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. u2022 Proficiency in handling accounts payable and account reconciliation tasks. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in full charge bookkeeping, including payroll and reporting. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline processes.
