About the Role The Sales Representative supports commercial activities within a defined territory, working directly with customers across industrial markets including foundry, pet care, iron ore pelletizing, and environmental applications. This role combines customer engagement, technical understanding of bentonite-based products, and commercial execution to deliver value-driven solutions. The position focuses on building relationships with customer offices and production facilities, supporting sales growth, and developing market insights. Key Responsibilities u2022 Execute sales activities within assigned territory, engaging customers across office and production environments. u2022 Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth. u2022 Identify customer needs and recommend bentonite-based solutions aligned with operational requirements. u2022 Provide technical support and product guidance, escalating complex issues as needed. u2022 Prepare for and lead customer meetings, documenting outcomes and follow-up actions. u2022 Capture customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights in CRM systems. u2022 Support territory planning, sales forecasting, and pipeline development. u2022 Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction. u2022 Travel to customer locations, including offices and industrial production sites (e.g., foundries, manufacturing plants). u2022 Visit company plants (Wyoming and South Dakota) to build product and operational knowledge. Qualifications Required u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related discipline. u2022 2u20135 years of experience in sales, technical sales, or customer-facing roles. u2022 Ability to travel up to 50% across the U.S. u2022 Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. u2022 Basic analytical capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
