You will build Python-based APIs, integrate large language models, and connect backend services to user-facing applications. The role requires strong CI/CD, containerization, and cloud skills to support rapid pilots at scale. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities: + Rapidly build AI proofs of concept and deploy them at scale to prove value. + Design and implement end-to-end integrations connecting backend AI services to web or mobile frontends. + Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and data services supporting AI use cases. + Evolve and support internal AI infrastructure, including containerization, orchestration, and cloud components. + Scout, evaluate, and experiment with emerging AI frameworks, LLMs, and tooling to identify high-value opportunities. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs and deliver outcomes. + Resolve technical roadblocks, mitigate risks, and maintain project velocity. + Mentor teammates on data and AI technologies and foster continuous learning. Experience Requirements: + 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience or relevant graduate studies. + Proficiency in Python for API and AI development. + Familiarity with Java or Node.js. + Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or TypeScript (preferred). + Strong experience with REST API development and database management using PostgreSQL or Oracle. + Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. + Experience applying LLMs for information retrieval and data science problems. + Familiarity with multi-agent systems, tool calling, and workflow orchestration such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. + Proven ability to deliver end-to-end integrations from backend services to user interfaces. + Strong technical design and analysis skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity. + Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills. + Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new concepts and libraries. + Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and technology advancements.
