District Overview Kiewit Power Constructors (KPC) provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a union craft force. Kiewit Power Constructors builds major EPC power plant and solar farm projects throughout North America. Location First project assignment will be in Homer City, PA. Position based our of Springfield, VA. Reloaction and tempoary deployment assigntence available. Responsibilities u2022 Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel via internal or external general foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence u2022 Act asliaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure compliance of construction drawings and specifications u2022 Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Kiewit staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence u2022 Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate u2022 Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements u2022 Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Companyu2019s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies Qualifications u2022 Ability to travel and relocate as needed u2022 5+ yearsu2019 work experience in the construction industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role u2022 Previous knowledge/experience in vertical building setting required u2022 Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents u2022 Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance u2022 Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative u2022 Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time u2022 Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity u2022 Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt u2022 Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills u2022 Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives u2022 Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail #LI-RF1 Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
