Key responsibilitiesinclude:- Performing MIG welding on steel components and assemblies- Reading and interpreting welding blueprints and instructions- Inspecting welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards- Maintaining a clean and organized welding area- Working efficiently to meet production goals and deadlinesWhat Were Looking ForQualifications:- 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment- Experience welding thin gauge(16 gauge) up to thicker material(3/8')- Ability to read basic welding blueprints and follow work instructions- Familiarity with welding tools, safety practices, and inspection techniques- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality- Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team- Other requirements would be a 2F and 3F MIG/GMAW weld test, and bringing Your own PPE(gloves, sleeves/jacket, and hood).Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand and weld for extended periods- Regularly lift and move parts up to 50 lbs- Comfortable working around heat, sparks, and industrial equipmentWhy Work With Us?- Competitive pay based on experience- Consistent, full-time schedule with early Fridays- Supportive, team-oriented work environment- Room for growth in a fast-growing companyPierpont Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participatesin E-Verify.
