Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to manage and oversee the financial operations of a dynamic entrepreneurial financial group based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance standards, and implementing effective internal controls to safeguard assets and improve financial outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, financial management, and team leadership. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all affiliated entities. u2022 Oversee fund and trust accounting to ensure proper reporting of investment funds and client assets under administration. u2022 Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. u2022 Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for trust and investment services. u2022 Develop and monitor annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing detailed variance analyses to management. u2022 Track and manage cash flow, monitor funding balances, and maintain strong relationships with banking partners. u2022 Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets. u2022 Lead, mentor, and train accounting staff to foster growth and ensure high performance. Requirements u2022 A minimum of seven years of experience in a Controller or senior financial management role. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications are preferred. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. u2022 Prior experience in investment funds, real estate, or trust accounting is strongly preferred. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and Office applications, particularly Excel. u2022 Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. u2022 Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop accounting teams.
