The court serves the 40 northernmost counties in the State of Ohio and is headquartered in Cleveland with additional court locations in Akron, Canton, Toledo, and Youngstown. The court is comprised of approximately 50 clerk's office staff who support eight judgeships and their chambers staff. The Automation Specialist will serve as the local IT support; manage and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software; follow and adhere to districtwide information technology security policies and procedures; and coordinate with the IT Department regarding technical issues impacting the court. The Automation Specialist reports to the Deputy Clerk in Charge in Akron.u00a0[Representative Duties]{.underline}[:]{.underline}u2022 Install or assist with the installation of new or revised software releases.u2022 Provide hardware and software support for office equipment, desktop and laptop computers, printers, multi-function copiers, audio recording equipment, network fax services, IP telephones and court-issued portable electronic devices.u2022 Respond to local IT technical requests as assigned by the IT Department.u2022 Test new software and hardware and work with IT to troubleshoot problems and deploy end-user systems.u2022 Coordinate teleconference and video conference logistics for equipment, such as document cameras, recording systems, and video distributions.u2022 Maintain inventory of local IT equipment and ensure that property passes are issued, as required.u2022 Configure hardware to meet users' ergonomic needs.u2022 Provide on-site training in hardware and software applications.u2022 Perform data entry for the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system.u2022 Ensure end-users and automation equipment adhere to the court's IT security policies and procedures.u2022 Prepare reports for management team and judicial staff, as needed.u2022 Coordinate and monitor serv
