This job was posted by : For more information,please see: Pharmacy LocationUnder the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, preparesconmpands and dispenses medical orders/prescriptions.**Essential Job Functions:**- Communicates effectively with customers and provide guidance for locating products or understanding services- Accurately process transactions including cash, checks and credit cards while following SMCVH policies- Restock shelves, update pricing, check in vendor deliveries, and maintain inventory systems.- May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department.- May be required to assist pharmacist in retail and/or hospital pharmacy.- Performs a variety of tasks- Typically reports to supervisor or manager- Performs other related duties as assisgned.- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the field.- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.- Competent to meet age specific needs of patients service.- Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens.- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times.
