Introduction We are hiring a Senior Workday Finance Consultant to serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert across all areas of Workday Financial Management. Youu2019ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing complex Workday Finance solutions u2014 guiding transformation programs that improve visibility, efficiency, and control in financial operations.Ideal candidates bring extensive Workday Financials experience, a strong accounting background, and the ability to architect solutions that meet enterprise and regulatory needs, particularly within public sector or state environments. Your role and responsibilities As a Sr. Workday Finance Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert, advising clients on the strategic implementation and optimization of Workday Financial solutions. You will utilize your comprehensive knowledge of Workday's financial modules to drive business outcomes for clients.Your primary responsibilities will include:u2022 Lead Client Consultations: Provide expert guidance on complex financial processes, aligning system configuration with client business needs and ensuring efficient workflows across all relevant modules.u2022 Drive System Configuration: Configure Workday Financial solutions to meet client requirements, leveraging your deep understanding of Government financial principles and practices.u2022 Deliver Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize Workday's financial modules.u2022 Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve issues, providing ongoing support to clients post-implementation.u2022 Optimize Financial Processes: Apply your expertise in financial process reengineering, data analysis, and change management to optimize client financial processes. Required technical and professional expertise u2022 Comprehensive Workday Financial Knowledge: Deep expertise in Workday's financial modules, including Cash & Assets, Customers & Projects, Grants & Endowments, Planning, Record to Report, Spend, and Supply Chain & Inventory.u2022 Financial Process Reengineering Expertise: Experience with financial process reengineering, leveraging data analysis and change management to drive business outcomes.u2022 Complex Financial Process Consultation: Experience leading consultations on complex financial processes, aligning system configuration with client business needs.u2022 Workday Configuration and Optimization: Experience configuring and optimizing Workday Financial solutions to meet client requirements.u2022 Financial Principles and Practices: Deep understanding of government financial principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes.u2022 Workday certification is required.
