Description We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization's long-term goals and expansion plans. u2022 Lead efforts to identify market opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and mitigate financial risks. u2022 Serve as the primary liaison with external financial partners, including banks, lenders, and investors, to secure funding and structure capital. u2022 Oversee all accounting and finance functions, including financial planning and analysis (FP& A), financial reporting, treasury management, payroll, and tax strategy. u2022 Provide guidance to individual school leaders on optimizing budgets, understanding financial metrics, and maintaining fiscal health. u2022 Take ownership of the annual audit process, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely submission. u2022 Implement and maintain operational best practices across all departments to drive efficiency and adherence to financial standards. u2022 Ensure compliance with regulatory and state reporting requirements, maintaining flawless adherence to legal standards. u2022 Manage legal affairs, vendor relationships, and corporate governance to mitigate risks and support organizational goals. u2022 Oversee IT strategy and infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with operational and academic needs Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a multi-unit or educational organization. u2022 Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. u2022 Demonstrated ability to secure and manage capital funding and maintain relationships with external financial partners. u2022 Proficient in overseeing audits, compliance processes, and corporate governance. u2022 Experience with process improvement initiatives, including the integration of automation and AI technologies. u2022 Knowledge of regulatory requirements and state reporting processes. u2022 Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and guide team members. u2022 Strategic mindset with a focus on organizational growth and operational excellence.
