Job Description This role is a lab support and sample intake position for an environmental testing team. The person in this job receives environmental samples (like water, soil, or waste), checks them in, prepares them for testing, and makes sure everything is handled correctly and documented so the company stays in compliance with environmental regulations. This person is not responsible for highu2011level scientific decisionsu2014they are following established procedures to ensure samples are properly logged, preserved, and ready for analysis. What they do day to day u2003u2022 Receive and log environmental samples when they arrive at the lab (sample receipt & chain of custody) u2003u2022 Prepare samples for testing (labeling, preservation, handling, and storage) u2003u2022 Use lab systems (LIMS) to track samples and data accurately u2003u2022 Work with scientists and lab staff to support environmental testing programs u2003u2022 Follow strict procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and audit readiness Help with basic lab organization, documentation, and quality programs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
