Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Chesterfield, Missouri. In this role, you will play an integral part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data management. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. u2022 Enter financial data into accounting systems, ensuring all records are complete and error-free. u2022 Reconcile accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. u2022 Assist in preparing and processing payroll as needed to support the team. u2022 Coordinate project-related tasks by tracking deadlines and ensuring follow-ups are completed on time. u2022 Create and maintain detailed financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. u2022 Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to address accounting inquiries. u2022 Support additional administrative and accounting activities to ensure the department operates efficiently. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with invoice processing and financial recordkeeping. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets and reports. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. u2022 Strong communication skills to interact with teams and vendors effectively.
