We seek a level 2 Manufacturing Support Team Member to join our team in Huntsville, AL . In this role, you will be responsible for supporting material requirements planning, leading material status meetings, and communicating critical supply chain needs to ensure the timely delivery of materials to support production schedules, and assisting the lab for material needs. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you willu2026 u2022 Support material requirements planning interface with programensuring compliance with SPD000234 Material Requirements Planning u2022 Lead material status meetings with product teams, to review material availability and current shortages u2022 Validate procurement delivery dates for impacts on production schedules and support procurement to update system to match real delivery dates u2022 Communicate critical supply chain needs to stakeholders u2022 Communicate schedule threats and drive escalation process with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues u2022 Facilitate non-support burndowns plans and actions, including alternate parts, expedite fees, production flow changes, and other solutions to mitigate material shortages u2022 Prioritize items through receiving inspection to ensure timely processing and minimize delays u2022 Create similar special orders to support supply chain needs and ensure material availability u2022 Coordinate shipments of make parts from manufacturing plant to receiving plant, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing transportation costs u2022 Monitor exception message management plans for ex20's, ex50/52's, and PR rejections/aging PR's, and work with buy part planners to monitor rejected PR queues and disposition rejected PRs u2022 Load demand and complete network changes and updates, and analyze associated impacts on material requirements and production schedules #LMSPACEMRPCTLNDHVL Basic Qualifications: u2022 Minimum 4-6 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or related field u2022 Strong knowledge of material requirements planning, procurement, and supply chain management principles u2022 Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP or similar software u2022 Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret government security clearance Desired Skills: u2022 Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field u2022 Active Secret security clearance u2022 Experience in aerospace or defense industry u2022 Knowledge of SPD000234 Material Requirements Planning and other relevant regulations and standards u2022 Certification in supply chain management or related field, such as APICS or ISM u2022 Data analytics experience u2022 SAP knowledge ERP/MRP u2022 Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects - - - To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters a work environment that encourages big-picture thinking.
