Description A client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with advanced ERP system knowledge. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for managing general ledger activities, supporting month-end closing, completing account reconciliations, and enhancing financial processes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee daily financial transactions, including maintenance of the general ledger and performing bank reconciliations. + Prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. + Lead internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with relevant standards. + Work collaboratively with the Financial Controller to facilitate efficient audit procedures. + Contribute to departmental and project budgeting processes. + Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and internal procedures. + Serve as the subject matter expert for ERP systems, addressing issues and driving enhancements. + Provide training on ERP system usage for team members as needed. + Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities. Requirements Requirements: + Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant. + Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. + Strong proficiency in ERP systems. + Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures. + Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. + Strong numerical aptitude and financial acumen. + Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software. + Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). + Outstanding communication skills.
