Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of production equipment. This includes troubleshooting gear boxes, pumps, hydraulic hoses, conveyors, and sorting machines, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and conducting necessary repairs. The role is primarily mechanical with some electrical repairs on switches, sensors, and potentially 3-phase motors. Major electrical issues will be outsourced. The position also involves facilities maintenance, including dock doors, lighting, and forklifts. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot issues with production equipment including gear boxes, pumps, hydraulic hoses, conveyors, and sorting machines. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks and necessary repairs. + Handle mechanical tasks with some electrical repairs on switches, sensors, and possibly 3-phase motors. + Conduct facilities maintenance, which includes managing dock doors, lighting, and forklifts. + Outsource major electrical issues when necessary. Essential Skills + Experience in industrial maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting. + Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, conveyors, belts, and bearings. + Ability to perform low voltage electrical work, including using a volt meter and reading schematics.
