We are partnering with a client that is hiring a Director of Accounting & Billing to lead our accounting, billing, and AP functions while partnering closely with organizational leadership. This role plays a key part in modernizing financial processes, strengthening controls, supporting audits, and implementing technologyu2011forward solutionsu2014including automation and AI. What Youu2019ll Do + Lead and develop accounting, billing, and AP teams + Oversee monthly financial reporting, revenue recognition, and billing operations + Ensure compliance with GAAP, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), and regulatory requirements + Partner with leaders across the organization to support datau2011driven decisionu2011making + Strengthen internal controls and safeguard organizational assets + Lead audits, tax filings, and key financial reviews + Support ERP optimization and process automation initiatives + Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and insurance renewals Requirements Required + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or related field + 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience + 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in organizations with 50+ employees + Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and financial reporting + Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred, not required) Preferred + CPA + Nonprofit or public accounting experience + NetSuite experience + 5+ years of leadership experience Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
