Equipment Operator The Equipment Operator supports maintenance and project activities at the Olin McIntosh facility by safely operating a variety of small to large industrial equipment. This role is critical to material handling, equipment placement, and supporting craft personnel while maintaining strict safety and operational standards in a chemical manufacturing environment. Other duties may be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: + Operate small to large industrial equipment including heavy industrial forklifts, telehandlers (lulls), aerial lifts (boom and scissor lifts), and select dirt equipment such as backhoes and track hoes. + Support maintenance and project crews with material handling, equipment positioning, and site logistics. + Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs. + Follow all facility, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements at all times. + Maintain awareness of surroundings and hazards in an active chemical facility. + Communicate effectively with supervision and craft personnel. + Perform additional tasks as assigned to support site operations. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications + Minimum of 3 years of experience operating industrial equipment. + Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts, and light earthu2011moving equipment required. + NCCER certification preferred but not required.
