This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Description:The Material Handler supports the production work flow and isresponsible for storing and distributing material and product throughoutthe facility by means of a variety of material handling equipment.Key Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving material within or outside the plant building to ensure material is organized and maintained in preplanned locations.- Removes scrap from inside the plant and places in appropriate bins for recycling.- Maintains cleanliness of the outdoor areas around the facility.- Move pallets/containers in and out of the building as necessary and is responsible for keeping the pallet and container area neat and organized.- Maintains organization in the fixture area.- Marks materials as needed with identifying information.- Loads, unloads, and moves product for internal customers within JRCM to aid with product flow by insuring parts get moved to the next work area.- Assists in the preparation of products for shipment for the purpose of stabilizing the products to reduce breakage, and or damage during delivery.- Undertakes other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility of position.
