Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team while ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Based in Brea, California, this position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. u2022 Oversee the coding and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards. u2022 Coordinate and execute check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. u2022 Implement and maintain best practices for accounts payable procedures and systems. u2022 Monitor and reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all transactions are recorded properly. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies. u2022 Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable activities and performance metrics. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. u2022 Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and attention to detail. u2022 Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to accounts payable. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable management or supervision. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and check runs. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies effectively. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. u2022 Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
