DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Observe and follow all company policies and procedures. u2022 Become familiar with the Grocery Standard Practice Manual. u2022 Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship in performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned. u2022 Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. u2022 Ensure product received meets company quality standards and authorization requirements. u2022 Maintain department compliance with pricing (if applicable). u2022 Enter information into both desktop and hand-held computers. u2022 Perform all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS u2022 Good interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a team environment. u2022 Effective communication skills. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements, including successful completion of forklift and power jack training. u2022 Must meet minimum age requirements. Physical Requirements u2022 Lift cases weighing up to 40 pounds at least 50% of the time. u2022 Meet established volume and fixed activity standards. u2022 Stand or walk 100 % of the time. u2022 Frequent reaching, grasping and lifting individual stock items below waist level or above shoulder level. u2022 Frequent bending. u2022 Ability to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packing materials and food products. u2022 Tolerate working in extreme hot/cold temperatures for up to 4 hours at a time. u2022 Ability to use desktop and hand-held computers to enter and retrieve data.
