Job Title: Quality ManagerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager responsible for developing and implementing our Total Quality System, which encompasses environmental considerations. This role ensures the highest level of customer service, both internally and externally, by translating customer-critical quality characteristics into process-critical ones. You will evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions. Additionally, you will assist in data collection methodologies, quantify financial impacts, and provide technical and statistical expertise to teams. You will facilitate the implementation of process control systems and statistical process control charts, and support process improvement initiatives. Your role will include identifying opportunities for quality and process improvement tools, assisting teams in data presentation, and fostering a success-oriented environment. Responsibilities + Develop and implement the Company's Total Quality System, including environmental issues. + Provide exceptional internal and external customer service. + Translate customer quality characteristics to process quality characteristics. + Evaluate and advise on long-range planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions. + Assist in data collection methodologies and quantify financial impacts. + Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams. + Facilitate implementation of process control systems and statistical process control charts. + Provide process improvement methods and expertise. + Transfer learning across teams and business units. + Identify application opportunities for quality and process improvement tools. + Assist teams in presenting data and conclusions clearly. + Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. + Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance. + Drive improvements on scrap to positively impact costs. + Participate as a strategic partner in the development of the corporation's plans and programs. + Assist with change management processes and ensure production deviation forms are completed. + Function as an internal auditor. + Understand Customer Specific Requirements. + Possess working knowledge of Core Tools for Quality Management, including problem solving and product launches. + Serve as the deputy for the President for Quality-related responsibilities. + Effectively perform any other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + 8+ years of quality management experience. + Quality engineering expertise. + Working knowledge of IATF standards. + Proficiency in root cause analysis. + Experience in the automotive industry. + Experience with plastic and rubber materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree preferred. + Experience with AIAG tools. + Ability to mentor Quality Engineers and follow established instructions. Work Environment Our facility has recently come under new management and is part of a global automotive supplier network. The work environment requires an individual capable of mentoring Quality Engineers and adhering to existing procedures and instructions. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Russell Springs, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
