Position: Emergency Management Specialist Sr Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital The Emergency Management Specialist Sr serves as the emergency management subject matter expert for the BayCare Health System Responsibilities include: + Providing input and expertise into the ongoing development, enhancement and implementation of the BayCare Health Systemu2019s Integrated Emergency Management Program + Advises leadership of potential obstacles, opportunities for improvement, and makes recommendations for the strengthened readiness, response, and recovery of BayCare Health System for all-hazard type emergencies + Serves as a mentor and partner to team members and associated partners + Acts as the Emergency Management Directoru2019s proxy during their absence + Designs, implements and facilitates site-specific emergency preparedness activities, including community wide full-scale exercises and specific preparedness drills + Provides guidance in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of emergency plans and policies + Annually update and submit assigned hospitalsu2019 Comprehensive Emergency Management Plans (CEMP) to respective authorities having jurisdiction + Performs other duties as assigned.
