Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate receipt, safe storage, movement, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods used in manufacturing and packaging operations. This role supports efficient production flow, ensures cGMP compliance, and maintains the integrity of inventory systems. Key Responsibilities Material Receiving & Documentation Receive incoming raw materials and packaging components, verify quantities and quality, and ensure proper documentation is completed. Prepare receiving paperwork, print bar?coded labels, and ensure materials meet company standards. Enter material receipt and location data into inventory systems. Material Storage & Inventory Control Determine appropriate storage locations and move materials safely to designated areas. Maintain accurate inventory records and support routine cycle counts and audits. Ensure materials are stored according to cGMP, safety, and Good Housekeeping standards. Production Support Deliver materials and components to manufacturing and packaging lines as scheduled. Prepare finished goods for transport to warehouse storage and assist production lines as needed to maintain continuous operation. Execute picking, packing, and shipment preparation following SOPs and cold?chain protocols when required. Equipment Operation Operate manual and automated material?handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and powered industrial trucks (PIT), following safety guidelines. Perform basic equipment checks and report safety or compliance concerns proactively. Safety, Compliance & Quality Follow all FDA, cGMP, sanitation, and safety procedures while handling materials. Maintain clean and organized work areas to uphold safety and operational standards. Prepare required transportation and Hazmat documentation when applicable. Qualifications Basic Requirements High school diploma or GED. [] 1u20133 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material?handling environments.
