Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA BASIS Administrator to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. The BASIS Administrator will provide technical application administration services in the development and production environments, ensure applications adhere to technical service levels, and implement necessary corrective and maintenance measures. The BASIS Administrator will support the design, build, testing, implementation, and overall environment management for all SAP environments and related application components. The primary focus of this position is SAP BASIS administration, with a strong emphasis on SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA system administration and monitoring. This project operates in a fastu2011paced, dynamic environment utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies to rapidly deliver solutions based on customer requirements. This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities: u2022 Analyze, design, build, and configure activities necessary for the initial build and periodic refresh of SAP environment components. u2022 Perform system upgrades, patching, and enhancements. u2022 Monitor and maintain database performance and enhance middleware technology. u2022 Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution. u2022 Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and procedures. u2022 Collaborate with crossu2011functional teams to implement new SAP functionality and improve system performance. u2022 Monitor system performance and provide proactive maintenance as needed. u2022 Provide guidance and support to junior BASIS team members. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: u2022 Due to contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business, or another related technical discipline. u2022 A minimum of 7 years of SAP implementation and postu2011production support experience. u2022 At least 4 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, preferably with SAP S/4HANA. u2022 Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system administration, and troubleshooting. u2022 Experience with SAP system upgrades, patching, and enhancement packages. u2022 Experience with SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Focused Build. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information effectively to both technical and nonu2011technical audiences. u2022 Ability to analyze problems and provide clear, actionable recommendations. u2022 Strong organizational skills.
