The position is responsible for ensuring that key Service, Quality and Inventory Accuracy metrics are fulfilled in EO’s Warehouse Department. Duties includes Receiving, Picking, Packing, Put Away, Returns, Production Orders, and Cycle Counting.A Distribution Specialist Level II is expected to perform duties to assist in achieving company goals through inbound receipt of inventory and on-time line fill by preparing shipments for domestic and international customer orders. Assist in managing consumable materials and hardware and assisting in the assembly process by cleaning and preparing components, tools, and materials needed in the manufacturing area. The job also includes maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols.Must be able to perform the primary responsibilities that are essential in the warehouse area. Individuals must follow all safety rules and procedures, as well as adhere to all company policies. These functions include but are not limited to:Ensure that orders are picked and packed accurately as indicated on packing slipClean and bag mechanical inventoryVisual inspection of individual subcomponents for cosmetic compliance and cleanlinessMaintaining production Kan- Ban itemsComplete inventory movements such as receiving, and putting inventory on shelvesMaintain proper entries in warehouse software programMaintain good housekeeping as required by 6S practices Assist with mailroom duties as neededProperly pack items in shipping boxes Assist with packaging products to align with company packaging requirementsPull and put away parts for job orders as requiredProcess International shipments and documents as requiredProcess customer returns from intercompany and third-party vendors as neededOperate hand truck, power jack etc. as neededOperate paper fill machineRun basic SAP warehouse transactions as required by managementTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
