The Pictsweet Company in Monte Alto Texas is looking for experienced line attendants to join our team. Line attendants will prepare machinery and equipment to begin production/processing operations.Sets up blancher temperature sets blancher speed, sets blancher hood in place, turns on blancher belts as well as in-feed and its charge beltsTurns on all belts and adjust belt speedsSets bins and other receptacles as required to catch productFills and monitors wash and cooling tanks with waterTurn on and monitors cooling sprays, chlorine sprays and flume waterMonitors water usage; adjusts and reduces flow of water.At shift end, secures all water, steam lines and shuts off all belts and blancherOperates forklift if neededMaintains work areas clean.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.EXPERIENCE: Minimum six (6) months experience working in an industrial settingLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules/signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.OTHERAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbersAbility to obtain OSHA Forklift CertificationAbility to work 12-hour shiftsAbility to work weekends, including holidaysAbility to work rotating shifts, if necessaryMust have reliable transportation
