Job Description Job Description Summary The Electrical Engineer (EE), collaborating closely with electrical engineers and will lead the electromagnetic design for assigned projects. These projects primarily involve high-speed permanent magnet alternators and motors. The EE will utilize both in-house and commercial design software for lumped parameter calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) when necessary. Moreover, they will closely interact with other design functions, including mechanical and design/drafting, while coordinating the EMAG design with associated power electronics and regulators. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities -Perform electromagnetic design analyses and calculations as needed. -Prepare and deliver analysis results to large audiences. -Interpret and clarify customer technical expectations. -Collaborate with the Engineering Team to achieve internal cost targets and establish cost objectives. -Define and uphold technical compliance with customer requirements. -Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines. -Coordinate technical design efforts with other Unison resources, including Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and integrated product teams. -Draft technical proposals and present technical details to customers. -Generate comprehensive design and analysis reports.
