Job Title: Assembler I, Assembly - Skilled Job Description Under general supervision, the Assembler I is responsible for assembling components, which may include sub-assemblies, manual components, electrical components, and other related parts, contributing to the completion of a variety of products. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and quantity standards, following directions and blueprints to meet product specifications. Responsibilities + Assemble various components, including sub-assemblies and electrical parts, adhering to blueprints and specifications. + Maintain high safety standards, ensuring good housekeeping and ergonomics practices. + Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. + Meet work schedule requirements and fulfill overtime demands, including weekends. + Participate in cross-training and teamwork initiatives, working well with diverse teams. + Address safety and quality issues proactively, bringing attention to any problems. + Demonstrate motivation to learn new processes and progress to higher skill levels. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED required. + Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English. + Physical ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs frequently and occasionally lift/carry up to 75 lbs. + Prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and crawling as required. + Coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as an assembler for medical devices is preferred. + Attention to detail and ability to learn new systems and equipment. Why Work Here?
