Job Description APPLICANTS MUST BE PERMANENT IN THE PRINCIPLE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE CIVIL SERVICE TITLE Customized Assistance Services (CAS) helps Human Resources Administration (HRA) clients with health and/or mental health problems reach the highest attainable level of functioning and self-sufficiency by providing comprehensive, integrated, individualized clinical and support services. CAS works with other components of HRA and with other governmental and non-governmental service providers to create new programs and to integrate and refine existing services so the people it serves can achieve their maximum functional capacity. CAS provides clinical expertise, recommendations, and direction to HRA in the fields of health, mental health, substance abuse and vocational rehabilitation. Customized Assistance Services (CAS) helps Human Resources Administration (HRA) clients with health and/or mental health conditions reach their highest attainable level of functioning and self-sufficiency by providing comprehensive, integrated, individualized clinical and support services. The Disability Services Program (DSP) assists clients in obtaining federal disability benefits through either the Social Security Disability Insurance program (SSI/SSDI) or Medicaid Aid to the Disabled (MAAD). Customized Assistance Services is recruiting one Principal Administrative Associate II to function as a Supervisor of Office Support Services who will: Under the direction of the Director of the Disability Services Program, and with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgement, the Supervisor of Office Support Services is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing workflow for office workers and clients who are potentially eligible for federal disability benefits. The Supervisor, Office Support Services. - Manage day-to-day operations and duties of service staff for disability benefits programs, ensuring adequate staff coverage and maintaining computerized control of staff assignments. - Ensure distribution of sensitive and confidential electronic and paper office correspondence to appropriate offices responsible for various duties relating to applying for federal disability benefits. - Coordinate and ensure accurate data entry of client information into appropriate systems. - Regularly check that office filing and tracking mechanisms are operational, controlling files in file room, recommend and implement improvements. - Create and update worklists and other system reports. - Respond to inquiries from MICSA and other HRA division staff and other government agencies regarding the status of referrals submitted by their office. Hours/Schedule: 9:00am-17:00pm (Flexible) PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOC - 10124 Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or 2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience described in
