POSITION DETAILS Reporting to the Academic Program Manager, the Administrative Coordinator will: + Coordinate and maintain academic scheduling each semester using Course Dog in collaboration with the Registraru2019s Office and department leadership. + Process EHRAF applications for adjunct faculty and manage personnel documentation including teachingobservations, annual evaluations, and multiple position reports. + Create and track purchase requisitions through CUNYBuy; monitor work orders and follow up on department service requests. + Manage calendars for the Chairperson and Deputy Chair, and organize departmental meetings and specialevents, including logistics, room reservations, and communications. + Collect, analyze, and report departmental data; prepare presentations, correspondence, and official communications using Microsoft Office Suite. + Maintain applicant tracking files and documentation for faculty searches, ensuring organized recordkeeping andconfidentiality. + Serve as the departmentu2019s first point of contact, providing general information and administrative support tostudents, faculty, and staff. + Oversee office operations including supervising student workers, maintaining departmental archives and websitecontent, coordinating office moves, and ensuring equipment functionality. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required. CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department. - Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information. - Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. - Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections. - Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities. - Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing. - Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department. - May supervise office staff and student workers. - Performs related duties as assigned.
