We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employees knowledge, critical thinking, innovative solutions for our clients. **Responsibilities** + Fill prescription orders + Answer and screen telephone calls, and take refill requests. + Help put away drug orders. + Reconstitute and compound medication orders based on patient care needs and following Service Unit policies and procedures. + Fill clinic and ward drug supply orders + Maintain inventory of stock and I.V. bulk solutions + Prepackage medication into unit-of-dispensing sizes + Clinic and ward inspections + Dispense medication refills + Administer immunizations (certification required) + Work in a collaborative fashion with the pharmacy team and providers to ensure timely and accurate pharmaceutical services. + Participate in training and competency activities including: Annual safety and infection control, and other mandatory training as assigned **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Completion of a pharmacy technician training program. + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential is preferred. + Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support). + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in clinical setting + Familiarity with IHS pharmacy systems and federal pharmacy regulations a plus Chenega Corporation and family of companies is an EOE.
