Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a role in Bellevue, Washington. In this long-term contract role, you will manage critical AR functions, ensuring accuracy in payment processing and account allocations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the organization while collaborating with internal teams and clients. Responsibilities: u2022 Accurately process and post customer payments, ensuring proper allocation to the correct accounts. u2022 Reconcile accounts receivable statements and address discrepancies by working closely with internal teams and external clients. u2022 Monitor aging reports and provide regular updates to management regarding overdue accounts and collection efforts. u2022 Utilize advanced Excel functions, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, to organize, analyze, and report on AR data. u2022 Prepare detailed reports summarizing collection activities, potential risks, and critical AR metrics for review. u2022 Collaborate with the billing team to ensure invoices are accurate and sent out on time. u2022 Support cash application processes to maintain accurate account records and balances. u2022 Proactively follow up with clients to resolve payment delays and ensure timely collections. u2022 Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and accuracy. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections. u2022 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use V-Lookups and Pivot Tables effectively. u2022 Familiarity with billing processes and systems, ensuring accurate invoice management. u2022 Experience managing commercial collections and resolving payment discrepancies. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients. u2022 Ability to analyze aging reports and provide actionable insights to management. u2022 A proactive approach to identifying and resolving AR issues.
