Description We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and resolving outstanding accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Responsibilities: u2022 Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments and resolve outstanding balances. u2022 Analyze account histories to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and streamline collection processes. u2022 Maintain accurate records of collection activities and update account information regularly. u2022 Negotiate payment plans with customers to ensure compliance and satisfaction. u2022 Monitor aging accounts and prioritize collection efforts based on risk levels. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations during collection activities. u2022 Provide regular reports on collection performance and account statuses to management. u2022 Develop strategies to improve collection rates and minimize account delinquencies. u2022 Handle escalated collection cases with professionalism and efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. u2022 Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection processes. u2022 Excellent communication and negotiation skills. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing account data and resolving discrepancies. u2022 Familiarity with legal guidelines related to collections. u2022 Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize workload effectively. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. u2022 Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in collections operations.
