The Material Support Team Member will be responsible for the control of inventory for the stockroom supporting multiple programs across the base. This position is a service-oriented role that provides direct support to space programs and manufacturing floors. This position will be responsible for processing and monitoring customer demands and scheduling program production orders. This is a fast paced environment, working with multiple programs and locations at various levels of production support. This job requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to help resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise. This position will be responsible to keep supply chain metrics up-to-date and maintain accuracy of the inventory database. This position will be working with the represented team monitoring the progress of stocking, picking, and kitting of parts/flight hardware. Ensuring completed kits are staged in the area flow centers or brought out for delivery to the manufacturing areas of MMC 360. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory or material management. u2022 Excellent written, verbal communication & presentation skills. u2022 Able to provide reports, requested information, completed special projects, and assignments to management as needed. u2022 Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite applications; business management software (SAP preferred) needed. u2022 Time management, delegation, and organization skills with strong problem-solving ability. u2022 Must be able to complete assignments requiring judgment and discretion, failure to achieve results may affect schedules and programs. u2022 Must possess the ability to work well in a team environment, as well as on their own with minimal supervision.
