The Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is looking for a non-exempt Staffing Administrator. Staffing Administrators will help coordinate and executeactivities to support the High-Volume Hiring (HVH) and staffing efforts for the WFS team for a defined geography (node). These efforts include butare not limited to New Hire Events (NHE) and New Hire Orientations (NHO). Staffing Administrators will help develop and coordinate activities to support staffing efforts and provide support to the WFSorganization to ensure successful completion of all administrative activities in the staffing process. This role is essential to creating a positive candidate and employee experience. Staffing Administratorswill play an integral role in support of the Node’s staffing efforts, will thrive on pulling many pieces together to form a complete picture, and would enjoy working in a team environment with a focus on individual contribution. You will work with a team of Staffing Coordinators and Managers who thrive in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Our WFS node teams work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas to include evenings and weekends. We roll up our sleeves, work hard, have fun and make history!Key job responsibilitiesSets up, executes, and breaks down New Hiring Events (NHE) based on labor projections to meet the labor order demands and fill on-timeSupport candidate activity to ensure all electronic paperwork is completed on timeProviding follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and emailTracking recruiting activities and reporting candidate statusAttend events such as community fairs, hiring events and job fairsAddress basic questions regarding recruiting processIdentifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiencyAssist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as neededAssist in on boarding of new hires and departures of employeesAdministrative tasks as neededEffectively executes NHE activities including Host, Candidate Care Specialist, Candidate Processing, Badge Photo, and/or Drug Test AdministratorStaffing Administrators are required to work a flexible schedule. This means varying shifts to include evenings and weekends in multiple sites. Overtime may also be required to support the needs of the businessMust be organized with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work in an environment with competing demandsMust be able to travel as needed to conduct events in locations within your designated Node or geographical area BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school or equivalent diplomaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working with Windows, Word, Excel, MyTime (Kronos) and PowerPoint- Experience in administrative tasks such as data entry, managing data driven report processes or processes- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities- Experience in recruiting or HR- Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings, or experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure- Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis- Experience in oral and written communication- Associate's degree, or Associate's degree or above- Experience in Recruiting or HR- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates- Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities- 1-2 yrs of experience in a high-volume administrative support role or equivalent (former Seasonal Staffing Ambassadors or current/former Learning Ambassadors, Training Ambassadors, and Seasonal Operations Administrators a plus)- Comfortable with speaking in front of large groups. - Roll up your sleeves attitude with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, diplomatic demeanor.- Bi-lingual skills are a plusAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
