This role is ideal for drivers based in Greensboro, NC, who have the ability to take the truck home if they have a secure location. The position is seasonal, running from May to October, with the possibility of temp-to-hire for outstanding performance. Pay & Schedule Details Pay Rate: $25 per hour Overtime: Available after 40 hours Schedule: Monday - Saturday, with a possible day off during the week Dispatch Time: Between 4 AM - 7 AM (average dispatch at 5 AM) Job Details Route Type: Local Freight: Hauling fruits and vegetables for clients such as Food Lion and Harris Teeter Equipment: Manual transmission truck Handling: 5 - 10 stops per day Unloading with a pallet jack; some pallets may need to be broken down into multiple orders Some customers unload at docks; may require a liftgate or ramp at the back of the truck Key Responsibilities Obtain signed BOL/invoices at deliveries and pickups Handle cash for COD deliveries and return to the office after the route Report to designated locations and hours Minimum Requirements 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Competitive pay rate Overtime pay after 40 hours Opportunity for temp-to-hire based on performance Why Work With TransForce Join our client and be part of a team that values safety, professionalism, and excellence in service.
