Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in areas such as lease accounting, journal entries, and month-end processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. u2022 Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts on a regular basis. u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion. u2022 Perform lease accounting tasks in compliance with applicable standards. u2022 Monitor and analyze financial transactions across multiple locations. u2022 Support acquisition-related accounting activities, including due diligence and integration. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies. u2022 Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes. u2022 Contribute to audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. u2022 Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
