Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk with strong attention to detail to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently to ensure timely payments. u2022 Manage check runs and prepare payment batches on a regular schedule. u2022 Collaborate with the purchasing department to reconcile discrepancies and ensure proper documentation. u2022 Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions in the accounting software. u2022 Assist in resolving vendor inquiries and disputes in a courteous and efficient manner. u2022 Utilize Excel to analyze and organize financial data. u2022 Work closely with the Controller to support daily accounting operations. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts payable processes. u2022 Train on the company's accounting software, Foundation, to perform job responsibilities effectively. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and check runs. u2022 Proficiency in Excel for organizing and analyzing financial data. u2022 Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday, during standard office hours. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. u2022 Willingness to learn and adapt to the company's accounting software. u2022 Detail-oriented approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.
