Job Opportunity: Lead Dockworker (Logistics) Location: Grapevine, TX Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM) Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a high-energy, tech-savvy Lead Dockworker to join a fast-paced logistics operation in Grapevine. This isn't just a forklift job; we are looking for a 'working lead' who can bridge the gap between physical warehouse operations and digital inventory management. If you are a self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and the drive to step into a leadership role, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Expert Operations: Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and stage freight with precision. Digital Workflow: Use smartphone applications, email, and computer systems to track shipments and communicate with dispatch. Team Leadership: Guide dock workflow, ensure safety protocols are followed, and assist in training newer associates. Problem Solving: Act as the go-to person on the floor to resolve loading discrepancies or logistical hurdles. What You Bring to the Table Forklift Mastery: Minimum of 5 years of consistent forklift experience (Sit-down, Stand-up, or Reach). Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and basic computer software (Outlook/Excel). Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; ability to send clear, professional email updates. Reliability: You are a self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged. Flexibility: Willingness to support the team on occasional Saturdays during quarter-end pushes. Schedule & Requirements Standard Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to Midnight. Overtime: Flexibility is required for Saturday support during peak quarter-end periods. Leadership Track: Previous experience as a Lead/SITL is a plus, but we are also open to experienced associates ready to take the next step in their career.
