Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee critical financial operations at our office in Framingham, Massachusetts. In this role, you will manage and enhance accounting processes, ensure compliance with financial standards, and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial reports. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare all accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. u2022Responsible for the monthly financial close process, including the review of intercompany transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses. u2022 Implement revenue recognition policies in alignment with ASC 606 standards across various revenue streams such as SaaS, consulting services, and product sales. u2022 Prepare and review journal entries and supporting schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions. u2022 Generate accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. u2022 Manage transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements, working closely with tax advisors when necessary. u2022 Administer the lifecycle of commissions, ensuring proper capitalization and amortization in accordance with ASC 340-40, while maintaining necessary documentation. u2022 Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during audits, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance. u2022 Collaborate with external consultants and internal teams to meet UK statutory reporting requirements, including Companies House filings. Requirements u2022 Proven experience managing month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses. u2022 Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting standards. u2022 Familiarity with financial statement audits and the ability to serve as a liaison for external auditors. u2022 Expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management functions. u2022 Comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606. u2022 Proficiency in preparing and reviewing detailed financial reports and schedules. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial data.
