Responsibilities We are currently recruiting for a Security Guard to provide security and support for the hospital and campus grounds. Key Responsibilities: + Patrolling the hospital and campus grounds to prevent unwanted intrusion or incidents from occurring by making hourly rounds of the facility and premises and maintains a visible presence within the entire facility. Monitors video camera feeds to ensure that all areas are safe and secure. + Provides instruction and assistance to our patients, guests, and staff on an as needed basis. Escorts visitors and personnel from the building. + Documents all incidents and contacts local authorities for assistance on an as needed basis. Maintains proper record keeping standards in accordance with regulatory bodies. Monitors and logs equipment readings during overnight and weekend shifts when standard staff is not onsite and reports any equipment anomalies to Facilities immediately. + Performs backup responsibilities for EVS and Maintenance as assigned and needed. Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent is required and will be verified during the hiring process. + One year of previous security experience is required. + Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
