Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing invoice processing and ensuring accurate billing operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable and a knack for working with billing systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and enter invoices accurately into Ariba and Open Invoice systems. u2022 Ensure timely and efficient management of billing operations. u2022 Verify and reconcile invoice data to maintain accuracy in records. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address and resolve billing discrepancies. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date billing documentation. u2022 Monitor and track payment statuses to ensure timely collections. u2022 Respond promptly to inquiries regarding invoices and payments. u2022 Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and workflows. Requirements u2022 At least 1 year of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles. u2022 Proficiency with Ariba and Open Invoice systems. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines. u2022 Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders. u2022 Ability to identify and resolve billing-related issues independently.
