In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of land development projects by solving complex site challenges, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting projects that balance functionality, constructability, and regulatory requirements. This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping commercial, residential, and institutional sites that move communities forward.Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of plans, specifications, and reports for land development projects including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructureDevelop design calculations, technical memorandums, and construction documents under the guidance of senior engineers or technical leadershipIdentify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard engineering practices, local development codes, and permitting requirementsMonitor project progress and coordinate design efforts to support schedules, budgets, and constructabilityTake responsibility for significant portions of land development projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including coordination with survey, environmental, and permitting effortsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 3 years of civil site design requiredExperience with municipal engineering clients preferredSite design experience related to manufacturing facilities preferredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredStrong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settingsUnderstanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standardsProficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office requiredExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWork alongside experienced engineers, planners, and project managers on diverse land development projectsGain exposure to projects from initial due diligence through design, permitting, and construction supportEnjoy a flexible work environment that supports professional growthCurious about the impactful work our Land Development team is doing?
