The Vacuum Truck Driver is responsible for operating vacuum trucks to remove and transport produced fluids, tank bottoms, and other materials from oil and gas production facilities. At West Ranch, this role also includes high-pressure pump truck operation for well cleanout, fluid transfer, and pressure operations. This position supports Lease Operators and maintenance personnel by providing fluid handling services essential to daily production operations.Operate vacuum truck to remove produced water, oil, and tank bottoms from production facilitiesTransport fluids to disposal facilities or designated locationsConnect and disconnect hoses safely, following line break proceduresMonitor vacuum and pressure levels during operationsOperate high-pressure pump equipment for well cleanout and fluid transfer (West Ranch scope)Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain vehicle cleanliness and housekeeping standardsComplete daily field tickets, run sheets, and required documentationParticipate in safety meetings, JSAs, and hazard identificationMonitor H2S levels when working with produced fluidsCoordinate with Lease Operators and supervisors on fluid handling prioritiesFollow all Hilcorp and Danos safety policies and proceduresMinimum 2 years of vacuum truck operation experience in oil and gasValid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement preferredH2S awareness training and certificationKnowledge of line break and hose connection proceduresExperience with high-pressure pump equipment preferred (for West Ranch)Strong defensive driving skills and clean driving recordAbility to work effectively without direct supervisionPhysical requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb on/off truck, connect heavy hoses. Walking, bending, stooping required.
