We believe in and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Justice, and Inclusion for our team and clients.Team Members in this role will establish and maintain positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with the Facilities team, Sound management and team members, clients, tenants, architects, contractors, inspectors, vendors, and other professionals.Location: 3515 Woodland Park Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103.Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00am to 6:30pm.Accepting applications until April 18.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESBasic and deep cleaning including but not limited to:Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, sanitizing all areas of Sound locations.Emptying all trash cans and replacing linersDusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.Cleaning windowsills and windows.Maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.Adhering to OSHA standards in relation to the proper use of chemicals and equipment involved in the day-to-day completion of custodial cleaning tasks.Completing other routine maintenance duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESHigh attention to detailAbility and willingness to learnGood communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to work independently and within a team.Basic knowledge of cleaning products.Ability to read, demonstrate the ability to communicate with team members in basic English.Ability to perform basic math.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEA minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent.A minimum of two years of working experience in a custodial service-based role is preferred.
