Job Title: General Laborer u2013 Solar Project Groundwork - SEEKING LOCAL LABOR ONLY. NO PER DIEM OR TRAVEL. Job Description This short-term role supports a solar project by performing a variety of physical ground work tasks, including digging, concrete pad preparation, and assisting the on-site electrician. The position is ideal for someone with construction experience who is comfortable with hands-on labor and supporting multiple trades over a 1u20132 week project duration. Responsibilities + Perform general labor tasks on the solar project job site, including digging and site preparation. + Assist with concrete pad work, such as preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete under direction. + Support the on-site electrician with basic tasks, including wire pulling and material handling. + Handle construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project. + Follow all site safety guidelines, instructions, and procedures from supervisors and skilled tradespeople. + Assist other team members with various construction and ground work duties as needed to keep the project on schedule. Essential Skills + Hands-on general labor experience in a construction environment. + Ability to perform digging and other physically demanding ground work tasks. + Experience assisting with concrete work, including concrete pad preparation and related tasks. + Basic familiarity with wire pulling and supporting electrical work under supervision. + Understanding of basic construction site safety practices. + Ability to follow directions accurately and work effectively as part of a construction crew. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience as a construction helper or general laborer on similar projects. + Willingness to assist multiple trades and adapt to changing tasks on site. + Reliable attendance and strong work ethic for the full 1u20132 week project duration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portola, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
