About the Role: This exciting new position as a Transaction Specialist offers a unique opportunity to provide essential tactical and operational support to our dedicated team of retail transaction management and brokerage professionals. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of various processes, including deal documentation, database management, and accurate voucher processing. Your contributions will directly empower our team to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence. The Transaction Specialist position is part of the Brokerage job family. Brokers are responsible for the buying, selling, and leasing of office, industrial, retail and other commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation. What Youu2019ll Do: u2022 Handle moderately complex to complex listings, such as inter-state business. Identify gaps and errors, and proposes solutions. u2022 Verify the handwritten voucher against the written contract. Enter all sales and lease information into the company database based on guidelines and procedures. u2022 Obtain the appropriate signatures and approvals and transfer all financial information for further processing. u2022 Approve purchase orders for signage and marketing materials. u2022 Perform routine and ad hoc reporting from CBRE's revenue accounting system. u2022 Assist with basic reconciliations on standard business processes. u2022 Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques. u2022 Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related. u2022 Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team. What Youu2019ll Need: u2022 High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. u2022 Previous commercial real estate experience is highly desired. u2022 A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. u2022 Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. u2022 In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. u2022 Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. u2022 Advanced math skills. The minimum salary for the Transaction Specialist position is $62,000 annually and the maximum salary is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
