Job Title: Material Handler Sit down forklift operating experience required Location: Ocala, FL (34474) Shift: 1st; 6am-2:30pm Mon - Fri Pay: $16.50 Contract-to-hire Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detailu2011oriented Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations in Ocala, Florida. This role is responsible for accurately pulling parts, assembling material kits, and safely delivering materials to the correct production areas to ensure an efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities + Work from order sheets to accurately pull parts required for manufacturing. + Assemble parts into complete u201ckitsu201d and stage them on pallets according to production requirements. + Use a forklift or pallet jack to transport kits to designated production areas. + Ensure materials are delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. + Utilize a computer system to log work completed and document shipping and material movement information. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. + Follow all safety procedures and company policies. + Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and inventory teams. Qualifications & Skills + Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling role preferred. + Ability to read and follow order sheets and work instructions accurately. + Experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack (certification a plus or willingness to obtain). + Basic computer skills for data entry, logging work, and shipping documentation. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements + Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. + Ability to lift and move materials as required + Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
